Welcome to the Academic Distinction Fund!
ADF supports innovative actions that lead to academic excellence for students in East Baton Rouge Parish public schools. ADF promotes academic acheivement for all students, encourages the best practices in education, supports teachers in their work and professional growth, and fosters improved teaching and learning in public schools.
We advance our mission to support excellence in East Baton Rouge Parish schools by increasing the number of children ready for academic success in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and grades 1-12. We currently focus on pre-K, while serving pre-K teachers and classrooms through the Distinguished Speaker Series, MASTER teachers, teacher grants, and early childhood education advocacy. We emphasize the importance of collaboration to promote promising practices, research, and high-quality professional development. We are sustainable through the BRAF fund, grant awards, sponsorships, and annual giving.
